Depression in teenage girls may be caused by family problems – for example a family falling apart and or child abuse and neglect. Another important point is that the minds of girls are nowadays bombarded with misconceptions about sex, beauty and behavior. This usually happens with the help of popular culture – movies, fashion, celebrities, etc. That is why girls that have problems with appearance are sometimes mean, – they are frustrated because they do not resemble their idols. Very often, an ambition that is hard to fulfill (for example, being perfect at school) leads to major depressive disorders.

Working with teenagers suffering depression, anxiety and stress and relieving them of there symptoms is a great reward in itself. Being able to do this without the use of drugs is undoubtedly a step in the right direction. A new approach is to change the 'core energy' of the condition. When that happens all other sub energies change bringing harmony and balance.
